Editorial standards

  • Independent editorial. No paid placements, no affiliate-only roundups, no "sponsored content" disguised as guides. If we recommend a tool, we have tested it on a real project.
  • First-hand sources. Articles cite primary documentation, published research, or our own measurements. Hearsay is flagged as such.
  • Update cycle. Reviews and how-to articles are revisited at least every 12 months. Each post shows a "Last updated" date when revised.
  • Corrections. Errors are corrected in-line with a dated note. Material rewrites get a new updatedDate in the article's frontmatter.
